Installation Tips

Before installing TurboSaver, be sure to close all other open programs.

System Requirements

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x or 7.x on Windows XP or Windows Vista
  • Mozilla Firefox 2 or 3 on Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS X

You must install TurboSaver on each web browser you use. If you use both IE and Firefox you should install it on each browser (.exe for IE and .xpi for Firefox). Not compatible with IE8 (beta).

Note: if you are using Mozilla Firefox, you may need to take steps to allow Upromise install add-ons.

Allow upromise.com when prompted. If you have problems after attempting installation do the following:

  • Go to 'Tools' select 'Options', and then select the 'Security' tab
  • Click on the 'Exceptions' button and type "www.upromise.com" into the Address window and click 'Allow'
  • Close this window and try again to install using the buttons above. Be sure to restart your browser after installation
