Liberty Mutual offers qualifying Upromise members discounted rates on auto, home, and renters insurance. In addition, members can earn $5 for college simply for obtaining a no–obligation insurance quote.

In order to take advantage of Liberty Mutual’s Group Savings Plus® discount rates, be sure to mention at the start of the quoting process that you are a Upromise member. To earn the $5 for college for obtaining a no obligation insurance quote, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Request an auto or home insurance quote from Liberty Mutual.
  2. Be sure to mention that you are a Upromise member.
  3. At the end of the quoting process, make note of your quote ID provided by Liberty Mutual
  4. Return to upromise.com/liberty and click on the 'Register Now' button in the "Register your quote ID" section.
  5. Register your quote ID on the form and receive your $5 for college.
  6. No purchase is necessary.

The $5 college savings contribution is available to Upromise members who reside in states OTHER than Connecticut, Georgia , Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, and Utah.

5. If I request a quote for more than one type of insurance, can I earn a $5 contribution for each?

Yes! You can earn a $5 contribution for each auto, home, and renters insurance requested in each 6 month period.

6. What if I'm unable to find my quote ID?

If you’re unable to locate your quote ID, please contact Liberty Mutual Customer Care at 1–800–295–3753 and they will either help you locate your quote ID or recommend you request a new quote.

7. Why does it take up to 4–8 weeks after registering my quote ID for my contribution to post in my account?

In some cases, it may take up to 6 weeks for Liberty Mutual to send transaction information to Upromise. As a result, it may take up to 8 weeks for us to post a contribution as "pending" in your account.

8. Why does it take up to an additional 45 days for my contribution to be deposited into my Upromise account?

Upromise credits your account as "funded" after we receive payment from our partner company. It typically takes about 45 days for companies to be invoiced and payment to be received.

9. Do I have to use a registered credit or debit card to earn college savings with Liberty Mutual?

No. The use of a registered credit or debit card is not required to earn college savings with this partner.
