1. What Canon products are eligible to earn rewards?
Eligible Canon inkjet printers, laser printers, all-in-one printers, scanners, calculators, video products, combo/value packs, printer paper, printer ink and toner cartridges will be marked with a Upromise logo at www.canonestore.com. Only products purchased at the Canon eStore are eligible for Upromise ScholarDollars.
2. What are the reward amounts per product category?
Eligible Canon inkjet, laser and all-in-one printers, can earn you $5 in ScholarDollars per product purchased. Eligible Canon video products can earn you up to $8 in ScholarDollars. Eligible Canon ink, paper and combo/value packs can earn you $1 in ScholarDollars per product purchased. Eligible Canon toner and scanners can earn you $2 in ScholarDollars per product purchased. Eligible Canon calculators can earn you up to $3 in ScholarDollars. For example, if you purchase an eligible Canon printer and an eligible Canon ink cartridge, you will receive $6 in ScholarDollars. ScholarDollars are not based on the actual cost of the eligible Canon products. You may receive one ScholarDollar code for the total qualifying amount, or more than one ScholarDollar code equaling the total qualifying amount depending on which products you purchased.
3. How many of the same items can I purchase that are eligible for ScholarDollars?
You can purchase up to 10 of any one eligible item (as defined by the item or SKU number) and receive ScholarDollars for each.
4. When will I receive my ScholarDollar code(s)?
Canon will email your ScholarDollar code(s) (a 12 character code) upon shipment of your order, along with instructions on how to redeem your codes.
5. How do I redeem my ScholarDollar code(s)?
ScholarDollar codes must be redeemed online at Upromise.com. You will be required to enter your 12-character ScholarDollar codes prior to February 15th, 2009.
6. Do I need to make my purchase with a credit or debit card I have registered with Upromise in order to receive my reward from Canon?
Since Canon does not use credit card information to track purchases for Upromise, you can purchase your eligible Canon product with any form of payment that is accepted at www.canonestore.com.
7. When I am purchasing my eligible Canon product online, do I need to fill out any additional information to identify myself as a Upromise member?
No, you do not need to indicate that you are a Upromise member when you are making your purchase online at the Canon eStore.
8. What happens if I don't redeem my ScholarDollar code(s) online with Upromise prior to February 15th, 2009?
You will forfeit the eligible reward(s).
9. Who do I contact if I have not received my ScholarDollar code(s)?
If more than 10 business days have passed from the shipment of your order and you have not received an email communication regarding the status of your Upromise contribution, please call 1-800-385-2155. Please include your name, address, daytime telephone number, and product information (i.e. product type, model number, and serial number). If your product is back-ordered, the ScholarDollar code will not be emailed to you until the order has shipped.
10. I received my ScholarDollar code(s) but I am having difficulty opening the page to redeem the codes. Whom should I contact?
